双灯系统
投影机具有一个双灯系统,而且能够以三种工作模式运行:热待机模式、冷待机模式以及自动切换模式。在热待机模式下,两个投影灯均通电发光。如果其中一个投影灯出现故障,系统将立即切换至另一个投影灯的光输出来为光学设备照明,而且,它对所显示的信息无显著影响:既未损失信息,也未影响质量。切换时间约为半秒钟。
在冷待机模式下,仅在活动投影灯出现故障时才会打开第二个投影灯。由于第二个投影灯需要数分钟时间来达到一个稳定的工作温度,在开始时显示屏的亮度将会降低。不过,仍可以几乎没有任何中断地提供信息内容。
自动切换模式是冷待机模式的特例:投影灯轮流处于活动状态:在一个已定义周期之后,使用其他投影灯来为光路照明。由于该投影灯提前打开了数分钟,所以几乎不会注意到第二个投影灯已经接替工作。循环时间可以设定在12 小时与500 小时之间。

Bright Display
A UHP projection lamp provides a high luminous flux, which is transmitted efficiently through the lighting system. (UHP is the trademark of Philips Electronics N.V.). The lighting unit can be fitted with 180W projection lamps as required
Double Light System
The projector has a double light system and can operate in three modes: hot standby mode, cold standby mode and automatic switching mode. In the hot standby mode, both projection lamps are electrified. If one of the projection lamps fails, the system immediately switches to another projection lamp for optical lighting, and it has no significant effect on the information shown: neither lost information nor quality. Switching time is about half a second.
In standby mode, the second projection lamp is turned on only when the active projection lamp fails. Since the second projection lamp takes several minutes to reach a stable working temperature, the brightness of the screen will decrease at the beginning. However, the content of information can still be provided almost without interruption.
Automatic switching mode is a special case of standby mode: the projection lamp rotates in active state: after a defined period, other projection lamps are used to light the light path. Since the projection lamp was turned on a few minutes in advance, it was hardly noticed that the second projection lamp had taken over. The cycle time can be set between 12 and 500 hours.
